Re the questions in the podcast about the Dairy Queen being named Sarah Fisher. I think it is a reference to the real ice cream shop in Steveston, BC which serves as the location for Storybrooke. Sarah’s Ice Cream Shop ( http://www.sarahsicecream.com/ ) was very popular with the cast and crew of Once Upon a Time. She even featured flavors designed for each character in the show, such as a thyme-flavored “Once Upon a Thyme” flavor, “Snow White Chocolate”, “Grumpy’s Road”, “Henry’s Request”, and more which can be seen on the web page. Unfortunately, although the web page is still there, Sarah’s recently went out of business. Perhaps she gave away too many free samples! Too bad – I bet all the Frozen hype would have increased business.

The surname Fisher might also be a reference to Steveston itself, which is a fishermen town.

Very likely. I believe Sarah’s was on Moncton Street, which is where they do most of the filming (the library, Granny’s, etc…) and it looks like it is within sight of the cannery and the fishing boats.
