Emma’s reaction to fairytale characters has always been “really?” So I don’t so much fault her for finding it amusing that Will was found passed out drunk hugging a copy of Alice in Wonderland
I don’t mind when Emma says “seriously” when she runs into the fairy tale characters from her childhood, but she was very dismissive of a drunk and passed out Will–while he’s holding a copy of a fairy tale book. In her new reality that these tales are real and exist, that screams “trouble” and “help me” and her reaction was to mock him. This is the woman who has traveled to the EF twice, fought Peter Pan in Neverland, and is dating Captain Hook. At this point in Emma’s life, she should recognize that Will probably does know Alice and wonder 1) who Will really is in the WL mythos and 2) why Alice and Will aren’t together in SB. Her sheriff and bail bondsperson instincts seem to be gone or off…which is troubling given that in the very next episode, 405, she boasts about how finding people and remembering them is kind of her thing.
