Based on promo pics and everything we know about Elsa, I’d say she’s bluffing with her anger. She’s probably just tipping off the guards so she can plot against Ingrid with Anna.

If Elsa’s trying to trick the guards, I wonder if Belle got word to her somehow about Anna being captive.

It did feel a little off that Belle would just leave Arendelle without trying to tell anyone about Anna being in trouble…though she was ashamed about it and she didn’t necessarily know whom to talk to.

So Rumple just happens to have a super ancient take-away-light-magic spell lying inside the cover of a book? For what…fun?

Why didn’t he give that to Ingrid when she needed it? What’s his game (since he’s always playing at least one!)?!

He’s so cruel and vindictive, I bet he foresaw Helga’s death and Ingrid’s imprisonment, and decided to use it to his advantage. I have a feeling that Rumple and Ingrid’s relationship goes a lot deeper than we’ve seen so far.

A book that happened to be sitting on the counter right when Emma came in in need of it. How convenient.

Agreed. I know I’m supposed to suspend here, but the level of convenient plot devices lately is a bit much.

Rumple always has the magic ready, right there on the counter. It’s been that way from the beginning. It’s on the counter, right under the counter in the case, or, directly behind him. It’s always been a question…did he know they were coming, so he has their magic waiting for them?

Lucky for Emma he didn’t offer her a fail safe. But I’m confident she won’t lose her magic. Hopefully his spell won’t work for the same reason Cora couldn’t take her heart.

Oh I think it’ll work, but “the sisterly bond is worth its weight in magic,” so there’ll be a way for her to bond with the Snowflake and get her magic back.

If he needs Blue’s magic for the hat to get rid of the dagger, maybe this spell is how he’s planning to do it? That would at least explain why it’s right there in a book he’s just been playing with.
