This makes me wonder if something MAJOR happens and it’s just so big that they’re trying to cut down as many crew as possible to avoid spoilers getting out.
What if some things get said during the Snow Queens curse, things that will go…….. Unforgiven….. So when the new half of the season starts, people wont be under the shattered sight spell but will still be upset with eachother thus making it easier for the femme fatales to attack the city…. or whatever it is they are doing….

I don’t think so. Showrunner/head writers often direct their own work–look at Joss Whedon and Buffy. Adam has been away from the camera for a long time, now he wants to try something new. It’s like when an actor decides to direct an episode for the first time. It doens’t mean something big, just that the person in question wants to add a new skill set to their resume.

Whenever I see this thread title I sing to myself. “So I dub theeeee unnnfoorrrrgiveeeennnn.” I dunno if A&E are Metallica fans, so it’s not necessarily another case of an ep being named after a song, though The Unforgiven IS kind of a Rumple song.
(Anyway. just had to get that outta my system because I’m not even really a Metallica fan, so singing a line from one of their songs over and over in my head was starting to bug. LOL)
