Yeah, I don’t think that’s something Rumple’s gonna do. I think he’s even making plans to leave town. Ditch Belle and just leave. I predict that’s probably what he’s doing here. He’s trying to distract her with a promise that she’ll be safe (I’m guessing in the pawn shop) and once she’s hidden, he splits.
I don’t think Rumple would just leave Belle. He loves her. He’s spent all season so far lying to her so that she doesn’t find out how he’s been up to no good, if he was planning to just ditch her, why bother trying to keep secrets. Because it is doubtful that Rumple is going to be affected by the spell, I think he is going to take the opportunity to fill the hat up some more.
