In this episode, Rumple made clear to Ursula that he wants to get revenge against the heroes since they get the happy endings. In his quest to get his, could he physically harm Belle?
I’m of the opinion that he loves her too much, but he has shown that he will do whatever in order to get what he wants. What do you guys think?

But even back in the Dark Castle, when he thought the evil queen had turned her against him, he shakes her, shouts at her, and then locks her up to keep her safe–from himself. He then procedes to destroy STUFF–but he can’t even bring himself to destroy the cup that he associates with her.
To physically hurt Belle intentionally is, I think, something that Rumple would never do.
Unintentionally? Highly likely.

That being said I think it’s good for Belle to finally stand up for herself. Maybe she’ll actually get some screen time and decent material. And Bobby and Emilie were the best thing going this season in that scene.
I wonder how far gone he’ll be when he gets back with his ….minions (I’ve been calling them a deragatory word other places). Will Henry also be a target for his revenge? Will he not care he still has a blood relative? Will he turn his wrath on Belle? I won’t be surprised at all if he threatens her when they come back or she’s included in the threat. I don’t think Rumbelle is dead, I just don’t think we’ll see them together this season, and possibly part of the next. The writers and Bobby himself just love him being evil too much and you can’t have Evil Rumple with Belle being his conscious whispering in his ear to be a better man.
I’m not expecting it, but I wouldn’t be shocked that Belle finds out she`s pregnant and that’s what pulls him out of his evil funk (and no I don’t want to discuss Lana’s posssible preganancy here..thats for other threads, not this one). Or if you really want to get depressing, if they want to keep Rumbelle apart forever they can kill Belle off. She’s never been more than a peripheral character anyway and kiling her off wouldn’t significantly alter the show in terms of actual screen time. And it would really mess with Rumple even more.
Or he can resurrect Bae and Baevil and Rumple can evilly torture the citizens of Storybrooke. 😉

I could see one of his Minions trying to hurt her again though, and that might be what snaps him out of his bad attitude so he can be a HERO and save her.

I don’t think he would ever intentionally do her physical harm, but I could see her inadvertently becoming collateral damage. Rumple could have a moment of weakness when he comes face to face with Belle again, which the other queens of darkness then seize upon to get what they want the way Zelena did with Neal. Belle could be an obstacle that these queens are only too happy to remove. I don’t think it will come to that, not with Rumbelle being such a big “ship” and all. So I think Belle is safe, but will come in harm’s way by being taken hostage (again).

He won’t physically hurt Belle. He will do what he’s always done. Insult her, lie to her, poof her away from him. In storybrook he pretty much treats her like another collectable object in his shop. But this time, his shiny prize possession won’t be there.

I think they’ll have his and the QOD plan going along nicely to the point where Rumple only has to do one last thing. Then Belle will appear and say if Rumple wants to succeed then he’d have to go through her. It’ll look like Rumple’s going to do it but then at the last minute he can’t bring himself to hurt Belle. At least one of the QOD will probably be there urging him just to know Belle aside and decides they’ll do it instead. This prompts Rumple to stop them to protect Belle thus scuppering the whole plan.
I don’t think RumBelle will be together for the majority of 4B.
