“I think what it is, is the connection that Hook and Emma have. Nobody’s really had the same thing because both have experienced similar things in their past and sort of been abandoned as kids,” he says. “Both of them are thieves. Emma’s done the wrong thing at the wrong time as well for whatever reasons she’s felt were necessary. They kind of see that in each other.”
I’m no Swanfire (or hookedonswan, or captainemma, or whatever it’s called for that matter) shipper, but this would actually be more applicable to Neal. Just saying.I agree. Colin just more accurately described Neal and Emma than he did Hook and Emma. Baelfire = Lost Boy, Emma = Lost Girl. Both grew up as orphans. Emma stole Neal’s already stolen car. They had that whole Bonnie-and-Clyde-act in Tallahassee.
