I like Torrance Coombs (Bash, Reign) response to what the colors are:

The dress is clearly red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet and black and ochre and peach and ruby and olive and violet and fawn

and lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve and cream and crimson and silver and rose and azure and lemon and russet and grey

and purple and white and pink and orange and red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet and black and ochre and peach and ruby and olive

and violet and fawn and lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve and cream and crimson and silver and rose and azure and lemon

and russet and grey and purple and white and pink and orange and blue. *drops the mic*

But really, I think it all boils down to the lighting. Different people are going to see different things. Or anyone knows the brand of the dress, they could just google it and find the description somewhere and it’ll probably say what color it is.

Well, I read on Slate that someone did track down the original and it’s blue/black…

I consistently see blue and gold though. (Nice rumbelle colors, ne?) Apparently that’s what Adam sees, too.

    I would’ve said blue and black/navy.

I think it’s made of that shimmery material that can change in different light.

I see white (or maybe its a very light blue) and gold. A few of my friends see it like that too, but a lot of other people see black.

This is from the designer of the dress: it’s black and blue

What’s fascinating to me is that I and others sometimes see the same picture as black and blue, and other times gold and white.

I don’t know how to explain that either. When my boyfriend asked me, I think I said blue and gold. And he saw something else. And we were both looking at his iphone.
