What exactly are they hoping Pinocchio can tell them? He doesn’t have memories from being August, right? So the only thing he could tell them about the Book is if he knew something about it before the Curse hit, (like if SneakyFairy told him something about it).

I think this is what will lead up to August’s re-appearance in the next episode. Either they’ll find a way to extract hidden memories of his time as August, or they’re actually going to revert Pinocchio back into August, which could restore those missing memories. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the 2nd option happens, given the backlash they got when reverting August back into a kid in the first place. However, I’m aware that would spring the question: “well why didn’t they restore him into August in the first place to reveal that Tamara was bad news?” I also recall the original article saying that August would be back for multiple episodes, not just 414.

That’s what’s had me thinking that they’ll be re-ageing him, because I don’t see how they could work him into multiple episodes unless he’s an adult in present day. I’d have no problem with him being re-aged (I’ve missed August), if not for, as you said, WHY DIDN’T THEY DO IT BEFORE if it’s a thing that’s possible? So even if we win with this story development, we still lose. *HEADDESK*
