Lily and Mal were finally reunited and laid down some truths–both good and bad. Reaction to the reunion? What do you want to happen now? Also…much better CGI, no?

    I liked the reunion.

All magic comes with a price!

I’m conflicted over this part of the story.

Maleficent going to Snowing, and being so emotionally vulnerable, it felt way too sudden and I didn’t really buy it.

But when she saw Lily as a dragon, her sense of awe and love, it felt genuine and I liked it.

And I liked their final scene together too.

It’s just the part near the start where she’s suddenly gone all soft, it felt out of character.

The fact that they softened her in order to make her more “mother” rubs me the wrong way BUT I did really enjoy the scenes. Also, “she looks like me!” LOL
