I just rewatched the second part of Operation Mongoose and this line jumped out at me, “…Blue and her Gaggle of Uglies.” Here is what comes to mind…
1. The heroes are villains…and the villains are heroes. Blue is against, Snow, Charming, the Evil Dwarfs and Grrr Granny. Blue should be a villain but she is fighting against the villains. Hmmmm….another nod to Blue not being all that she appears to be. Of course it could be someone using a glamour to impersonate Blue as we have seen that before.
2. “Gaggle” of Uglies…first thoughts…gaggle of geese…Ugly Duckling. There was one character who referred to herself as a goose…Cora. Also…the word Mongoose…can be translated My Goose. I tweeted Jane about this a while ago and she told me I might be overthinking. She didn’t deny it.
3. Mother Goose – If Blue is with her Gaggle of Uglies (Geese) and Blue is also Mother Superior….smash those together and we have Mother Goose…just saying…it was an odd phrase, “Gaggle of Uglies.”
4. Uglies – Ugly Duckling…of course is a Swan.
Anyway…if someone else picked up on this line I would love to hear your thoughts.

Where was this line said? Was it it on the part where Evil Snow had her little table meeting? If so I am surprised I didn’t catch it but looking back I do recall that Blue was not there, and if she really was on their side, she should still be on their side in the AU. Hmmm… I think u may be on to something

One thing that might throw a wrench into the theory though is that Evil Grumpy said they laid a trap of dark fairy dust. If things are reversed then that means their magic is indeed good in the normal universe. But then there’s everything you both said.
Didn’t Adam or Keegan say that we would see Blue in a way we never saw her before? I think it was said in an interview. Basically I think the scene was probably cut. I mean, Keegan filmed for the episode, Idk why they wouldn’t include her as BF.

What grumpy said was: “We would have caught the bandit if Blue and her gaggle of uglies hadn’t laid a trap of dark fairy dust, paralyzing our axes” So even while Blue and her fairies are dark fae in this world, they are still opposing Snow white? So perhaps Blue and her gaggle are helping Regina. Which makes sense.
In the real world, Blue was good and helped Snow White. Now in the AU blue is bad and fights against evil Snow White. For whatever reason."I could have the giant duck as my steed!" --Daniel Radcliffe

You are correct…they did say that. I waited for the scene but felt it never came.

No we’ve never seen that and its a shame. Blue is one of the few characters on the show who’ve been around since episode 1 that we still haven’t been given an origin story for.
