Hm. Dark Swan centric? If Emma goes fully dark at the end of 501, then this is probably the fall out from that.

Maybe the price of her sacrifice is that the darkness is, like, feeding off her completely. And eventually she’s going to die. Or… Give “birth” to Morgana who will be the darkness incarnate who can only arise once a person’s heart has been consumed entirely.

Emma becoming Morgana through the darkness in her heart might be interesting. A lot of us have believed that Morgana was the first Dark One so it would be like her darkness resides inside each new Dark One. It would also make Emma public enemy #1 in Camelot since Arthur and Morgana have a long history of antagonism.

Perhaps this episode is really when they face the consequences of their actions.

For the past few years, episode 2 has been a Snowing or individual Snow/individual Charming episode so possibly.
302 = Lost Girl (Snowing)
402 = White Out (Charming/Anna)
413 (second episode of 4B) = Unforgiven (Snowing)

Either its a Snowing episode (individual or separate), or its a Regina episode like with 102 = The Thing You Love Most, 202 = We Are Both, and 313 = Witch Hunt. Safe bet its one or the other.
Not sure if this will help, but the two episodes that Chambliss and Horgan wrote together in S4 were “Poor Unfortunate Soul” and “Lily” –neither Snowing nor Regina centric. If I had to guess, I’d say Snowing just because the episode prior is most likely Emma’ conversion to the Darkness and Snowing should be the first to experience the fallout since they are her parents. (no idea what the flashback would be but…)
ETA: they also wrote the Apprentice. Not that this helps anything.

Yeah, leaning more towards Snowing, cause Chambliss has written a bunch of Snowing centrics before. “The Shepherd”, “Heart of Darkness”, “Lady of the Lake”, “Lost Girl”, “The New Neverland”, and “Unforgiven”.
