I think Merlin will be found probably next episode or the one after. I was looking at picks of Emma and Merlin on page 55 of this thread I think and she’s wearing the same thing she’s wearing in the promo where it looks like she is on a horse with someone (I think its Hook but I could be wrong) So yeah, I think in the coming episode some thing will prompt Emma to leave her family and Merlin will appear to her soon after.
