Yeah, I agree. She had to take memories from anyone who knew what all went down in Camelot.
Does this mean she killed Merlin?

Yeah, cause Emma’s hesitated quite a bit about wanting that darkness taken out of her and he seems to be the only one who can do it. So she kills him, takes everyone’s memories, and now no one can save her (except herself)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"It feels like the Sorcerer would be too important and powerful of a character to be killed off, in my opinion. I think something has happened to him. But I don’t think he’s dead. Maybe he is with Nimue somewhere at the bottom of a lake. Maybe Emma has him imprisoned in the SB asylum or whatever it is. But there is no way in my head he is dead. None. No way.
UNLESS…… If the darkness is Nimue…and she is the one who merlin loved (and vice versa)…and Nimue is inside Emma….maybe Emma used Merlin’s heart to cast the dark curse that brought everyone back. Assuming it was the dark curse. Idk.

Yeah, the memories of Camelot are trapped inside of the dreamcatchers. The town will probably get their memories back when they discover the shed. Perhaps Emma took away their memories, not just because she was ashamed of what she did to Henry, but perhaps also because of what they did to her which made her fully embrace becoming the dark one.
However, I don’t think Emma killed Merlin. If anyone actually did kill him it would’ve been either Arthur or the dark one in the mask who put Merlin in that tree in the first place. Also, I think whoever put Merlin in that tree is the one who cursed the town…remember Dopey turned into a tree when he tried to cross the town line. It’s the same sort of dark magic at play.

^ Emma could still have cast the curse. She has all the memories of the past Dark Ones, so that would include the one who put Merlin in the tree.

I’d be OK with Emma having killed Merlin, because assuming that masked Dark One was his love Nimue, and she obviously got killed at some point, at least they’ll be together in the afterlife now if Emma offed Merlin to cast the Curse, and I figure Merlin would be happier there, rather than hanging around in the land of the living all alone.
Once she loses the darkness, Emma can be the next Sorcerer.
