I see it as justified. Now before everyone throws puppies at me, Emma has a job to do. She has to free merlin to free herself and her family. If not, she will be consumed by darkness. She can spare henry’s feeling this one time to get the tear and then explain it all later after giving violet her heart back and letting that relationship run wherever it does.
Surely henry could understand that? I mean…honestly, I am surpised REGINA didn’t think of it. It seems like something she’d do. I personally think it was a brilliant plan. I think she should have told henry what she did and explained it all to violet too but yeah.
Can henry forgive her? I think so. Again, I think understanding the situation is key.
But then again, I’m just extremely dark myself. I would have done it.
