My TV reception kept dying this hour (fine the first, dunno what happened) and I really miss analog TV, so I’ll save full commentary for after I can watch it properly on itunes tomorrow, but:

    Liked:

Merida & her dad made me cry. Too beautiful for words.

    Disliked:

All three of these women know Belle but not ONE mention of her (that I could see, thanks digital TV).

Red, who is devoted to her Granny, just runs off like that without a way back?

    Mixed:

2 years ago. So…according to their timeline exactly when the curse is cast? (according to mine, just a few months before?) Just after? It really messes with Mulan’s timeline since I thought she was with Phillip from ~3 years before the curse to about 7 months after it was broken. Why is she off working for Fergus instead of helping Phillip find Aurora?

    Sassy Mulan!

    RUBY!!!!

    Disliked:

    This timeline is destroyed!

That was, without a doubt, the most pointless episode of OUAT I’ve ever seen. It was not offensively bad (like, say, Quiet Minds or The Broken Kingdom) but it literally had nothing to do with our arc and current storyline. I care next to nothing about Merida and her problems and to suddenly throw in characters we haven’t seen in years just for reasons is beyond stupid. Pointless, boring and utter filler.

Also, LGBT? What LGBT? Where was it? Was I supposed to read Mulan and Ruby as entering into a relationship?

    Also. Magic Beans. NOPE

I kinda wish this episode came first because I was mildly uninterested after the excitement of the first hour. It just seemed rather pointless. Nice to see old characters but it didn’t move the story forward at all. I wanted another hour of episode 508.

The only thing I liked was the witch. She was absolutely the best thing ever!

Best line: “Nobody out witches me!”

    Disliked:

    – Umm…. I thought this was supposed to showcase an LGBT relationship between Ruby/Mulan?

I agree with those above…this episode was pointless!

Screw Deleted Scene, they could have just made this a Deleted Episode and slapped it on the DVD for those who cared enough to actually watch it….not gonna lie…I skimmed through almost half of it.

    Okay….I haven’t done this in a while.

    Liked:
I got a huge laugh. Like I seriously laughed a lot during this episode. I know I wasn’t supposed to but I couldn’t help it.

    Disliked:

    Everything.

Seriously Ruby had a bean. :O What about THERE ARE NO BEANS ANYMORE! Sorry, but that is the worst reveal ever. She would really leave her Grandmother, who isn’t young and her only family, to go back to the Enchanted Forest on the off chance she might meet some other wolves? I thought we had that story line in season two and she decided it wasn’t for her. Sorry, I don’t buy she’d leave her friends and family because she felt lonely and odd. The town is filled with fairies, dwarfs, magical people, and who knows what else. She wasn’t an outcast. I’d rather they said she was upstairs like they do in Soaps.

There was no point to this episode. Total filler, and not in a season one type of way that Dreamy was. It was just pointless.

All three of these women know Belle but not ONE mention of her (that I could see, thanks digital TV).

I’ll save you the pain of waiting: There was no mention at all. Mulan even brought up the Yaogui adventure but only to mention Philip. Red mentioned that she had heard of Mulan from her friends–those friends being Snow, Aurora and Philip

Red, who is devoted to her Granny, just runs off like that without a way back?

And Granny hasn’t mentioned this at all in the entire season following Red’s departure?

Well, all my criticisms from before hold true, but I have to admit I loved Merida’s story and seeing Mulan and Ruby again.
