If this is true, and Robin does die, I have no idea as to what their endgame is with Regina.
First, her first love is killed. Then, after believing she has to destroy Snow White, she kills her father. Later on, her first love comes back. She’s forced to kill him. Her mother comes back. She’s tricked to kill her. She finds her soulmate. He ends up having a child with her sister.
Then he dies.
This sends a strong message of misogyny, as the writers seem to have a horrible amount of fun with hurting Regina. What kind of message does that send? I’m not saying that they should tie Regina’s happiness to a man, but what’s the point of putting her through MORE pain and have her regress?
Also, there’s an eerie real-life parallel between Emma and Regina. If Robin dies, he’ll have died in the season he became a regular. The same happened with Neal, who died in Season 3.
