I really liked Hercules. Jonathan Whitesell did great with the role, and I enjoyed the friendship between him and Snow. I think we can all safely agree that Megara was a huge disappointment. As much as many of us criticize when OUAT sticks too closely to the Disney versions, this is a case where they would have been better off doing so. The Disney Meg wasn’t a damsel nor a wuss. She was independent, tough and sassy. I was hoping that we’d get a twist where Meg was secretly working for Hades, and the whole cowering was an act. Alas that didn’t happen.
