Once Upon a Time provided a “shocking” revelation during Sunday’s episode — though only shocking to those who don’t follow the news.
Amid an episode heavily focused on Rumple’s (Robert Carlyle) past with his ex-wife Milah (Rachel Shelley) and their bid to save their young son Baelfire, it was revealed that Belle (Emilie de Ravin) is pregnant with his child in the current timeline. It’s hardly a surprising revelation considering the actress was pregnant in real life — the Lost alum just gave birth last week — but it should make for some good drama in the wake of Rumple becoming the Dark One again.
“It’s going to affect both of them,” executive producer Edward Kitsis tells EW. “As we saw in the premiere episode, Rumple lied to her. The question we get is, ‘He’s lied to her so many times, has he learned anything?’ And I think he has. When he finds out that she’s pregnant, it’s going to affect him, it’s going to affect her, it’s definitely going to affect his motivation. Rumple is a new person. We know why he grabbed that dagger, but we’re really going to understand more of where he’s coming from.”

Is he??? Cause I’m pretty sure he just pushed Milah into the River of Lost Souls, thus keeping with his track record of making poor life choices in the name of family.

I’m guessing Rumple is going to find a way to outsmart Hades, defeat him and get everyone home. In other words, he’ll use his magic for the good of his second child.
