This season we have adopted some sort of bizarre “Touched by an Angel” formula where the cast helps to bring a tortured soul to paradise. I don’t know if even Della Reese and Roma Downey could have saved Gaston, though. If anyone is deserving of damnation, it would be him. I wonder if he, Milah, and the other souls will be rescued?
I also wonder if these are akin to Ursula’s “poor unfortunate souls”?

I’d like to see more souls being saved, especially the one’s Regina sent down there…I would like to see her saving more of those.

In the first episode of 5B I thought that is what we would get but it seems that soul-saving in general has come to a grinding halt.
