I think a large part of Zelena’s revenge plot is getting to see the suffering of others. It’s a lot like Regina’s original plan in that regard. It wasn’t just enough to kill Snow or Charming; she had to curse them to deny their happy endings. I think getting pregnant with Robin’s baby and then watching Regina have to live with this knowledge would be too delicious for Zelena. She’s reveal in it; like Regina watching David and Kathryn in S1, while Mary Margaret suffered.
