I agree, that I was pleasantly surprised how well they handled Drew’s centric tonight. I’d also say that this is the best episode of DoS by far. I guess something to keep in mind is that Adam and Eddy didn’t write “Ruby Slippers”, as that was written by Andrew Chambliss and Bill Wolkoff. That’s not to say that “Ruby Slipeprs” would have necessarily been better if Adam and Eddy had written it themselves, but who knows. One thing that is certainly in DoS favor is that it does not have magic everywhere to over-rely on. There are supernatural elements, but I wouldn’t say it’s incorporated in a way that cheapens any character or plot development. At least not so far.
