Welp, for what its worth, here is what the internet tells me the phrase “Waiting on the other shoe to drop” means: “To await an event that is expected to happen, due to being causally linked to another event that has already been observed.” Sounded like it had potential, but yeah, I’m sure its Cinderella related.
