KeymasterPrincess Jasmine is in town! And she’s looking for her Prince Aladdin. If Jasmine came from the Land of Untold Stories, and Aladdin did not, then where is he? Why were they separated? And does Jasmine know about Aladdin’s “Savior” fate?

ParticipantShe must know about his “Saviour” fate since she met up with the girl Oracle … who doesn’t seem as creepy as she was in the first episode of this season.
I’m not much of a spoiler person and I understand that casting news isn’t necessarily a spoiler but one wonders how much more excited I would have been had I not already realized that Karen David was playing Jasmine. LOL At the end with the reveal, I thought … ok, anticlimatic moment for sure.

LOL like if it hadn’t been in every single promo since summer!
It’s hard to get a read on Jasmine for the same reason it was hard to get a read on Aladdin in 6×01; they have nothing to do yet so they come across as a bit flat. Jasmine’s interactions with Snow were nice, though the show missed a chance to open her personality up a bit and not just about believing in yourself. Like, people do have OTHER conversations!

Like, people do have OTHER conversations!I’m not sure they do in Storeybrooke … unless it’s about Granny’s lasagna. And hey, an entire episode without a scene at Granny’s.

ParticipantI reckon he’s either in the hospital or wandering around the woods. He didn’t look too good in the premiere, although the nature of his affliction is still unclear. There is a strong liklihood that he’s suffering a temporary loss of memory. There is an even stronger likelikhood that he and Jasmine will share a TLK at some point.

KeymasterAlso, anyone wondering why Jasmine took a fake name? Why is she trying to hide her identity–no one in SB knows about Aladdin and his #SaviorShakes or about Jafar.

I’m sure someone from TLoUS knows though. Also, I’m guessing Aladdin has powerful enemies, so it’s probably just a precaution to hide her identity amongst strangers.

Perhaps she feels shame about being Jasmine, so she uses a fake name to hide her identity. Maybe it’s something she’s been doing since arriving in the LoUS to keep herself a secret.

I wonder if TLK cures #SaviorShakes

I’ve been trying not to think about that actually. Because, if it does, I’m sure we can see where that’s headed. And I suspect you (and many others here) won’t like it any more than I do.
