“Capital of Agrabah”. Adam actually responded to a tweet of mine earlier (can’t link to it, cause Adam decided to delete it, like a lot of his tweets lately), but he said that the two different Agrabah palaces would be subtly addressed. Guessing this is what he meant. So I’m guessing Agrabah is more like a country that is divided into different cities/regions each ruled by its own Sultan. It’s basically Fairy Tale Land’s equivalent to the entire Middle East. This does honestly make some sense. Trying to insert Aladdin and Jasmine while keeping the stuff with Jafar and his father canon wasn’t an easy thing to do. It was one I had concerns with back when Wonderland was airing. Now my question is why Jafar seems to be the vizier of this Sultan, and what is his agenda?

Are they considering Agrabah as part of FTL still? It was supposed to be part of FTL in WL. Realm, to me, means separate world but I can’t tell what Adam means.

I can understand if he means that Agrabah is a…region, that has several kingdoms within it that itself lies within a much larger realm . For example, just as Arendelle is a kingdom within the realm of Fairytale Land, neighboring the Enchanted Forest which has several kingdoms within it. But if Agrabah is a realm….I don’t know. I’m just going to go with it.
Anyway, gosh Jasmine colors are so beautiful. And yay we got another reference to the fact that these people are in movies! We really need more of those, youd think Emma would use them to be more genre savvy.

I’m guessing he means realm as a part of FTL, not realm as in world. They’ve used the term “realm” loosely. The writers have said numerous times that Agrabah is a part of FTL, and even the episode “Ariel” implies it. Prince Eric talks about crossing over the desert to Agrabah.
