EMMA IMPLORES ALADDIN TO RECONNECT WITH JASMINE AND DISCOVER WHAT HAPPENED TO AGRABAH, AND, IN THE PAST, HOOK FINDS HIMSELF KIDNAPPED BY THE MYSTERIOUS CAPTAIN NEMO, ON ABC’S ‘ONCE UPON A TIME’
“Dark Waters” —Emma tries to convince Aladdin to work with Jasmine to help Agrabah, while Regina teams up with Snow and David to free Archie from Zelena. The Evil Queen sows suspicion between Henry and Hook, even as Mr. Gold reminds her of his most important lesson. Meanwhile, in the past, Hook finds himself kidnapped by the mysterious Captain Nemo and held captive inside his legendary submarine, the Nautilus, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. how does Jasmine even know that Agrabah is still in danger? Jafar left! And how did Jasmine get to LoUS?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I can’t believe they are having a Hook flashback. Just why? Are they really going to have some connection to Hook with what is happening now? Also, what happened to the season of Snowing? Yeah right, is what happened.
And how did Jasmine get to LoUS?
How did Aladdin get to SB if Agrabah is an entirely separate realm? Shouldn’t he have been frozen in time like everyone else who wasn’t in the EF?

How did Aladdin get to SB if Agrabah is an entirely separate realm? Shouldn’t he have been frozen in time like everyone else who wasn’t in the EF?
Agrabah is supposed to be in the same realm as the EF, just…east of it. The way I used to think of it was that the entire world was called Fairy Tale Land but that most of our characters are from the Enchanted Forest (Europe, if you will) and Agrabah is simply on another continent.
Aladdin did say he made his way to the EF and then got swept up in the Curse.

We even have in-show evidence that Agrabah is in the same world as the EF. Here’s what Eric said in the episode “Ariel”:
This shall be my final Ursula ball, for tomorrow, I’m exploring the unknown lands… the desert from this realm to Agrabah.
This sounds like Eric would have traveled to Agrabah on foot through the desert. Jane and Adam further confirmed it, when asked if that’s what Eric’s dialogue was implying:

So in this case, they meant realm as in kingdom, not realm as in a separate world entirely.
Okay, so in OUAT terms:
REALM – A kingdom or a particular batch of kingdoms in the same general region.
LAND – A dimension/world within the multiverse.
So Fairytale Land is a LAND, while Agrabah and the Enchanted Forest/Mist Haven, are realms within it that contain separate kingdoms within them. Also, Oz would be a land, and the Emerald City is a kingdom within it.
So our world, the Land Without Magic is a land (obviously) and the different continents are realms (mmkay) and the countries within them are “kingdoms”. Okay…I think I got it. Maybe. I don’t know where my train of thought even is anymore.

Oz is the kingdom. The Emerald City is its capital. If they go by the books, the “land” should be Nonestica.
