I’ll be honest and say I wouldn’t be sad if OUAT were to end after this season. At least then the show would go out with whatever shred of dignity it had left.
The low ratings don’t surprise me. It’s a result of the poor quality of storytelling we’ve had in the past few seasons. Season 6 is slightly better, but it’s like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted. The quality storytelling was needed a few seasons ago not just now.
