This makes it sound like something a few of us proposed in Filming thread: the Robin we see is from a different time/universe/page 23/something. He’s a Robin but he’s not THE Robin.

I’m guessing its something like the thing from New Moon when Bella kept seeing Edward even though he wasn’t really there (after he’d left her for all of y’all who don’t remember those ancient days of the Twilight era). It was all in her head.
Perhaps Regina drinks a potion to bring forth a manifestation of Robin. So its Robin, just not the real Robin. He’s there, but hes not really. If so, then Henry’s little “villains lie, maybe Robin isn’t dead afterall thing” will be false foreshadowing but whatever.
