The EQ put both Charming and Snow under a sleeping curse so that if one is awake, the other is asleep. While TLK will work to wake one, it cannot keep both of them awake. How can Snowing break this curse?

I’m not sure how the mechanics of it work–there was no apple, no spinning wheel, no nothing–but I will admit it was a twist I didn’t see coming.

Good point. Judging by the original dark curse break in s1 parent child love should be perfectly suitable to break this curse. I hope they address this point in the next episode and find some vague reason why this won’t work so I don’t spend the next few episodes yelling, ‘just kiss your dad already!’ at my tv.
For the first time in quite a while, I was completely shocked by a twist. Sleeping curses aren’t new to this show, but to have it so that Snow and Charming can’t stay awake at the same time is. I have to give the writers some deserved props for thinking this up. Though it begs the question, can anybody else wake them up? Emma, Henry, or even baby Neal?
I also loved this twist, and I can’t wait to see how they break the curse. I just hope it is not some kind of magical object. I think it would be appropriate for Emma to wake her parent’s up it would be a great call back to season 1 when she broke Henry’s sleeping curse.
I like this episode but I don’t know what gave it away for me that they’d go Ladyhawk with the sleeping curse. Something early in the episode made me think of it.

I liked it but I don’t understand how it works for different reasons.
If TL breaks al curses, then why is that one is doomed to sleep while the other is awake. The moment either one of them kisses the other the curse should be broken on both of them right? Does TL only work one at a time now?
But yeah, Emmas love should be able to cure that right up. But then again her hand is all shaky shaky so maybe not?
I wonder what this means for Emma’s vision. Both Charm and Snow were in it, so clearly this has to be resolved by then. I know they kind of handwaved that by the line they gave emma about it is uncertain but still.
