Yeah I don’t think Hook and Charming are chummy chummy for any other reason outside of Emma.
I think when you look at the kind of person Charming is (he’s literally the archetypal fairytale prince) and then look at Hook, I don’t think he is someone who is a person charming would prefer for his daughter but is simply lettting Emma do her own thing because she’s an adult. Which is great. Charming wants Emma to be happy.
It doesn’t mean he hates him. It doesn’t mean Hook and Charming can’t be friends. But I don’t think they are as compatible as say Graham and Charming who I think are on similar wavelengths (heh they were both sheriffs) or even Charming and King ArThur. Hook and Charming have to interact regardless of feelings. Hook is Emma’s boyfriend.
But idk. And it really doesn’t matter.
*cough* And yeah, Hook only saved Charming from the nightshade thing because Emma. *cough*
