What do you predict will happen in the season six finale? Why?
Everything will appear to be great, and there will likely be a fun and light-heated style musical episode and a wedding in 6×20 (The Song in Your Heart), despite the looming danger of the dark fairy, making everyone falsely believe that this is a happy ending. As the season finale title suggests, the Finale Battle will begin in 6×21 and 6×22. I think a major re-set button will be hit. Emma may indeed die at the point of Gideon’s sword (which we learned in the preview for 6×13 Ill-Boding Patterns guarantees a victory for the person wielding it), or she’ll at least lose her magic. A&E have also said the dark fairy is a far greater threat than any previous threat before. I think that the Dark Fairy is going to transport SB to the Dark Realm. Most of our core characters will end up in the Dark Realm, a major cliff hanger. I also think Henry will have to save them all. Either he’ll escape the curse but grow up jaded, or he’ll age up because of the Dark Realm but somehow be the only one escape. He’ll eventually have a kid (either biological or adopted), who’ll teach him to believe in magic again. Henry will take up his author’s quill again, and it’ll be up to them to search for and save SB in season seven (assuming we get one).

I think that Rumpel is going to use the shears on himself so he is no longer the dark one, Rumpel and Belle are going to get back together, and Gideon is going to be turned back into a baby.
I think the Blue Fairy is the bad element amongst the fairies and she did something to the the Black Fairy, possibly took Rumpel away from her when he was a baby, but it is possible that the Black Fairy is in fact bad now as well. It is possible that Rumpel, Belle, and Gideon might go back to another realm with the Black Fairy.
I really don’t understand how they can keep Zelena when she just hasn’t had a plot the entire season. Especially now that the Evil Queen is gone and Zelena really has no one to interact with. She needs to go away.
I don’t think it is going to be Gideon under the cloak at the end. I just think that is too easy. If i were to guess now, i would say it is Jafar or the Black or Blue Fairy. I want it to be the Blue Fairy. I think Emma is going to get stabbed and die or “die” and then be brought back by true love’s kiss with Hook. It is difficult because what happens might be dependent on whatever is going on with Jennifer and she really might just be done with the show, so they might just let her die.
Snow and Charming haven’t been part of the plot of the show in years. Their side plot will be resolved when Charming enters Snow’s dream and somehow saves them both from within deus ex machina.
I actually don’t get why the episode is called the Last Battle when it is just a one on one fight with Emma and the cloaked figure. Honestly, i need more information because there has been no set up to a final battle or really set up for anything, so who knows. The writing on this show is complete crap.
March 18, 2017 at 10:19 pm #334553RumplesGirlKeymasterIn a nutshell, we’re going to see another “Going Home” with people splitting up
–Rumple kills his mother and somehow kills himself, but this time for good.
–Gideon becomes a baby again, somehow, and Belle takes him and leaves SB for good.
–Emma, Snowing, Henry all POOF away cause reasons
–Regina and Zelena and Hook are left to pick up the pieces.

March 19, 2017 at 3:35 am #334561onceaholicParticipantI can tell you what WON’T happen….everything I want!
-Regina to use light magic again (Though if there is actually a light vs dark magic battle this would be the perfect time to see it again).
-Regina to give those hearts back (actually, this might happen, hmmm).
-Regina will admit to raping Graham (or at least say she treated him exceptionally badly, seeing as this show is on at 8pm), and to killing him.
-To find out why RH, SW and WW can all exist at the same time in magical dimensions when people from LWOM came to know about them in different centuries…. (one way to do it, is for select pages of Henry’s book to be sent back in time at different points to slowly introduce our world to magic and magical dimensions, and the character’s stories get revised as time goes on till we get the versions we know today. Meanwhile, our world is now prepped to believe in magic to win the final battle).
There are other things but I won’t list them; maybe later.
Seriously though, what would the final battle entail?
-Dark Realm invasion, because Gideon failed to kill Emma in time. Emma will nonetheless die saving everyone, not only from the invasion but from any influence that ”fate” might have on their lives (The show has always said that bad things happen due to bad choices, but in the case of Regina, bad things happen despite several years of good choices, and there are the shears that cut people from their fate, so it seems that fate does have a part to play. Seriously, this fate vs choice thing really needs to be cleared up).
-Rumple will either die or lose all his dark magic, maybe because of Gideon (as per the seers prophecy).
-Everyone gets to live happily ever after, if they make the ‘right’ choices in life.
Edit: I think the EQ will be on the ”dark side” of the ”final battle” and her and Regina will be reintegrated at the end of it. OR Regina sacrifices herself to kill EQ during this battle. Then, at the end there will be reset so that we get to see Regina again (seeing as the actress seems to have signed on for another season).

April 14, 2017 at 5:04 pm #336113pmcParticipantHere’s an idea, what if the whole series winds up being a story that adult Henry has been writing as a series? Perhaps like the ending of Newhart, where it went back and was a dream of the main character from the Bob Newhart show.
April 14, 2017 at 5:34 pm #336116hjbauParticipantThey should not do that. No it was a dream or a story or anything like that. The writers did at one point say that they wouldn’t do something like that, but there are a bunch of other things that they said they would never do like time travel, that they have done multiple times.
April 14, 2017 at 5:39 pm #336117SlurpeezParticipantI wouldn’t put it past them. “It was all a story after all” would be just the kind of thing to get people mad tweeting, which these writers seem to love to do.

April 14, 2017 at 5:42 pm #336118MattParticipantI kind of agree with Jeremy’s theory that all of the realms are going to be under threat in the finale (something that I theorised a while back when I thought that Agrabah was in the Dark Realm and that Jafar and the Black Fairy were working together to transport all of the realms there). We have already seen Agrabah and Neverland recently, we know that a trip to another realm from the past is coming up. It does feel like they are placing characters within these realms so that we can see the destruction through the eyes of them all as it hits/threatens the different realms. I suspect we may get Dark Curse style storm-clouds showing up on the horizon in these realms and the heroes in each realm will have to band together to fight the oncoming darkness. I can see it being really epic – which is why it probably ain’t going to happen….
…. I do think that, in terms of the reset, it would be good for the show to exist primarily in a magical realm and have the two new characters be people who have never been exposed to magic and will get to experience all of this for the first time. That way the audience can rediscover the magic through fresh eyes. They could also retitle the show for the second book – “Happily Ever After”…
April 17, 2017 at 10:37 pm #336361onceaholicParticipantAh I was looking for this thread to discuss ideas on how to defeat the black fairy, but I couldn’t find it so I started a new one. Here’s the link.
