According to Futon Critic, we’re getting a pre-finale special at 7pm called “The Final Battle Begins”:

Interesting that we’ve never had a special for a finale before. Typically just the premieres. I guess it means 2 things:
1) They’re going to end the series after all.

I guess it’s a retrospective of the series as a whole. Interesting.

#2 is probably the case but I imagine the cast they’re losing will come back for a couple of episodes including the series finale next season.

This is the final season for some of the regulars but not all of them. Snowing will probably come back as guest stars.
I think the reason they’re doing this is because we’re losing probably one character and the others will come back to guest star.
