[adrotate group="5"]Wow. We knew it, and all signs of the show pointed to it, but with all the buzz surrounding the possibility of a new contract, I’m surprised she announced it before the finale.
Now I hope the show ends. I would’ve liked a seventh season surrounding Emma, but if she’s only going to be involved in one episode out of a potential 22, I think it needs to end. You can “reboot” it all you want, but this show starts and ends with Emma Swan. There is no way you can justify continuing it without her.

This doesn’t bode well for Hook/Colin… And if Rumple/Robert goes as well then they are going to have to come up with a really amazing reboot with some very strong actors to keep any of the fans onboard.
I’m done. This was the final nail in the coffin for me. If Season 7 does happen, I won’t be watching it as a weekly thing. I may binge watch it during Summer Hiatus whilst the majority of my other shows are off air but that’s it.
Emma is the lead. I really don’t understand how they can go on without her. Especially if the rumours are true that Colin re-signed. How can we have Hook without Emma? It just doesn’t make sense.
Very surprised she is able to say this now, and even more surprised bc all pointed that she, Lana and colin signed.
I mean Gosh had told fans, but not officially, this is a shock just one week before the finale and stating she will appear in one episode only, wow, just wow, is case to ask, Why is the show even being renew like it seems it will be? just ended.

I’m really starting to wonder if what Eddy ‘accidentally’ said about Emma dying next week during the panel the other day was true. I know that Jen says in the post that she has agreed to come back for one episode next season but that could easily be for a flashback. Or something like LOST where all of the cast reappear for the final scene.
I am honestly very surprised. We all had her in our “returning” column because of what we had been hearing.

I suspect they want us to think she is going to die, which is why they have allowed her to make this announcement, and that in actual fact she won’t. It certainly raises the stakes for the finale knowing that they really could kill her if they wanted to. I wonder if that one episode next season would be the first, or last (if the reboot doesn’t work and they want to include her in the shows final episode).

Yeah suddenly I’m really suspicious of some of those things that were said and shot on set. The driving away in the bug with Hook screamed series finale to me but I really think we’re getting renewed.
