Both me and my 12-yr old daughter were in tears! It was everything we’d hoped it would be. It was a beautiful, picture perfect fairy tale wedding. I loved Emma’s dress, Killian’s suit, the terrace venue, the colors, everyone happy and singing/dancing afterwards – it was a true celebration. A celebration of not just their love but how much they accomplished, how far they’ve come as a couple. Which is why I wish the series had ended on that happy note, their “new beginning”. It would have been a perfectly satisfying ending, in my opinion.
Funny you mention this….after rewatching the episode, I too felt like it could have been a series finale (assuming they also defeated the Black Fairy in this episode. The end was perfect to sum up the show with everyone there and I just thought the music was so good. It felt like a good episode to close the show on.
