Better to say no spoilers

The problem in this fandom, is that they think No Spoilers means yes, that Maybe means yes, that yes means yes, than Hope means yes and that No means maybe, all bc A&E lied in the past, yes, tv show should let somethings be secret, but i never saw a show that treats spoilers( that sometimes may even bring fans to see) like they were some Top Secret issues that are important to the security of the world, aand even worst, whne fans on set know what he will happen, he just has to admit, not saying ome thing and then is exactly what the fans knew already.

Yeah, it is complicated. I was just saying better to say no spoilers then lie. Lying is just the worst when it comes to interacting with fandom. I sort of think that if the writers are going to hint at things then they need to be sure that it is something that is actually going to happen. I think that is one of the biggest issues with the show. Like they said no time travel, no changing the past, no bringing people back from the dead way back before they completely changed their intention for the show and if they meant those things as hard and fast rules for world building reasons, and those seem like good rules, then they should have stuck with them or they should have never said it.

Though, i do think that hope thing is a problem. Better to not answer questions about future episodes then try to trick people into watching by telling them their is hope for the character they like when there is not. I do think that once something has happened, like Neal or Robin dying, that the writers need to be like they are dead and not keep lying to people saying things like well they could come back, anything is possible, when they just mean in a flashback or a dream because that is not what people are asking.

I, definitely, agree that the writers should learn how to do spoilers a little bit better. There are ways to hint that are interesting and fun for the fandom, but the things need to actually happen. Here we have a writing team that doesn’t know what happened in the past on their own show and will change the arc of their characters mid season, even multiple times a season, so they don’t know what is going to happen, so maybe they just shouldn’t respond unless it is a well thought out hint.

I think Ginny’s pictures from set was probably the best promotion fandom stuff they have done. I still can’t believe how heavily they promoted the musical episode, releasing all the songs, and then they won’t hint at the simplest things for other episodes. It is truly bizarre promotional.
