Tonight marks the last ever time Jennifer Morrison will don the red leather jacket as Emma Swan. Her send off is less about wrapping up Emma’s story and more about passing the torch to Henry. But we did learn that Emma is happy and expecting her second child. What do you think life has in store for Emma back in Storybrooke? What will Hook and Emma call the baby? And, putting JMo leaving the show aside, did Emma make the right choice to leave Henry and go back home?
She will probably live a very safe and event free life with Hook in a house with a picket fence. I am glad they passed the torch to Henry and did not make her cursed or something silly so that Hook is only trying to get back to Emma. She is now gone and can be forgotten about along with Storybrooke Hook. I am okay with Emma deciding to go back to Storybrooke, I mean at this point in time Henry is not in danger and is just looking to find Cinderella and Emma’s parents are in Storybrooke. She might feel that with a new baby she would like all the modern conveniences of our world. All in all I think they ended Emma on a positive note.
I guess my basic thoughts are this:
1) I’m glad Emma’s not dead
2) I’m glad Emma didn’t go back to SB “because pregnant women can’t go on adventures”
3) Emma’s wig really was horrible
4) Honestly, though, Emma didn’t need to be here at all. This episode would have been 100% fine without her. All of this was to appease certain fan subsections and I hope those subsections are happy and leave well enough alone. The baby doesn’t matter; Emma’s appearance didn’t matter.
5) I think any idea that JMo will come back for more episode has been put soundly to sleep now.
Emma was my favorite character, but now i say good riddance. Her scenes were complete filler and added nothing to the plot. They could have been cut and were a complete waste of screentime.
She was not acting like Emma at all. Where’s her skepticism and cynicism? And having Wish Hook go with Henry so some form of Killian was with her son? Just..no. It almost would’ve been easier if Hook or Regina told Henry Emma was pregnant and she didn’t have to be there. I was happy to get another Hook/Emma kiss. They didn’t have a proper one in the finale.
Mothers’ Day — the end of the season — is seven months away, just enough time for a very special cameo.

It should be Killian Jones farewell as well, cause WR Hook is completely different and not the Killian Jones. Both characters left the shw tonight.
Good riddance.

Good riddance to him as well.

Emma was pointless in this episode. But alas, goodbye, Ms. Swan. Shame your final appearance couldn’t have been some epic send off.

Nah. Hook is still here. This is just hook looking for someone other than Emma (for a change). He’s hardly a different character. Just a different goal. We won’t be saying by to Hook until the very end it would seem.
Although I suspect this Hook will bite the dust after finding what he’s looking for.
