Pilot Season 2018 – Once Actors

Hey everyone!

Well, it’s that time of the year again. Pilot season. Casting announcements for all sorts of shows are beginning to come in daily so I figure that it’s time to begin my yearly thread to keep track of all of our stars.

Seeing as this is the final year for us, no-one is left under contract. This means that it’s possible for ANYONE to be cast in an upcoming project.

So how do pilots work? Each network films a large number of different pilots. They then test them with various audiences. The ones that have the more positive reactions are then ordered to series (meaning that they were picked-up and will definitely be airing at some stage in 2018 / 2019). The ones that don’t get picked up are usually dead however sometimes they get shopped around giving other networks the chance to buy them. The announcements regarding what has been picked up and what has been passed on usually are revealed just before the upfronts in May.

As usual, I or someone else will comment the info every time someone that has appeared in Once Upon a Time (or Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) gets announced for a new project.
