It looks like Jack is the Candy Killer and has been knocking off witches in HH. Is it just his past trauma with the Witch in the gingerbread house–and does this mean that Nick is actually awake? Is something else going on with him?

Maybe he is seeking revenge on the witches for killing his sister who was trying to join them. The other question is how did Gothel know that Ivy would be the next victim. Did she find that box of candy on her doorstep or something? That scene did not make much sense.

I’m assuming he is. We came up with the fact that Hansel and Jack both come from the name John, so it makes sense.
Gothel found the bag with the candy in the lobby when she came up to see Ivy. That’s how she knew she was going to be next.
