Getting back to the spoiler, personally I don’t think it’s actually “critical” plot wise. I think it’s more emotionally critical–like Snow and Charming give Henry some valuable advise that helps him with Ella because 1) the writers think that HenElla are the same as Snowing and 2)JMo only film one scene–the big party scene–that wasn’t conducive to her doling out love and life advice.
