I don’t see what Gold’s relationship with Emma has to do with his life with Belle and I’d rather that not continue to be brought up n regards to Rumbelle. You might or might not think she’s the protagonist in the show, but she has nothing to do with Rumbelle or Gold’s life or story (and that’s not what this post was about). By all means bring it up where it’s appropriate…….
Rumbelle can be together without having their HEA – just like Snowing. I don’t think that keeping people separated constantly is the only way that they can face obstacles or have angst – frankly, it’s getting ridiculous and, IMO, it’s a show of bad writing that they can’t find a way to keep them together without being 24/7 blissfully happy. O
I never said they hould get married right now and start a family (though I try and avoid Bobby’s interviews because he’s completely depressing), but they are a fascinating, incredible couple and there are many stories to tell with them……but then, I guess the writers don’t want to tell them (again, though, this belongs in the Rumbelle thread, not here).
Oh and the curse can be broken – there’s no question about that. As to why it hasn’t in SB, it’s probably becauses of that old convenient “magic works differently in SB” meme……..aka “cover your behind”. By that I mean it gives A/E license to do anything they wish without having to explain
IMO, break the curse and deal with the ramifications….like what it means for him to be mortal.
Personally I don’t get the point of dealing now with the probability of being controlled if (assuming that’s resolved) the curse is just going to continue. Gold has to be saved in some way……and if the curse still exists after this…
LOL he’s changed and transformed over the last couple of seasons and made this huge sacrifice……I’ll just leave it there. Whether people think he can be redeemed or not, that’s not for this post.
