Swanfire is a journey and it won’t be easy. Both Neal and Emma will have to fight for their second chance at real tangible happiness, not false memories implanted due to a curse

Preach! True love was never going to be easy. None of this is easy. Remember, Emma said not confronting the past would’ve been easier than facing it again. Neal not returning to Emma the first time was him taking the easy way out. Emma and Neal facing the past is the hard thing, but as sage Snow told Ariel, “So take my advice. Do the hard thing. Be honest. No secrets. Open your heart to love. It is so worth the risk. Even if you get hurt you’ll know, you’ll know you tried.”
