I swear I was on my way to bed but I checked here real quick before that and had a random thought about something you guys mentioned from Barbara’s chat.
What if how we see the pendant again is just a simple scene of Neal in the EF with it? He’s feeling sad and lonely after his discouraging talk with Snowing about finding Emma, he’s not sure what he wants to do anymore, and because he misses her and Henry so much, he simply pulls the pendant out of his pocket or satchel to try to feel close to her again. He’s sitting there staring at it when Belle finds him and then they have their own talk about finding their loved ones. I can’t imagine any reasonable scenario where anyone BUT Neal gives that necklace back to Emma so I’d rather see something like this if we’re going to see the pendant again without a SwanFire reunion. That symbol is too big for their relationship for anyone else to be part of it.
