There is a very interesting theory regarding Lizard´s death in this review. The reviwer speculates that maybe Jafar manages to change the laws of magic and the heroes manage to revive Lizard with a wish, even going as far as leaving her as Wonderland´s new ruler, the White Queen: Queen Elizabeth.
