Hm, thoughts on NYC Henry relative to SB Henry…
–Regina bought Henry a handheld video game when his book was lost. It was partly a see, I’m a more awesome Mommy than Emma move, but while she was strict she wasn’t against the games. And he did get into playing it eventually.
–One of the things that Regina, Snow, and Emma all worried about with Henry was how lonely he was. The first thing Regina asks is whether he has friends in New York now (and he does…interesting). And it’s not that he doesn’t get on with the other kids in SB–when he interacts with them, it’s usually positive. So interesting shift there.
–He doesn’t argue when Regina says he likes English or books, so while he clearly is into his video games now, he still likes stories. And video games (at least the ones he plays) are stories too.
