I bloody well wanna know what his reason for being so anti-mermaid is, feels like there’s gotta be some specific event that made him feel that way, and maybe we’re gonna find out what it was.
Personally, I thought it was a racism thing. SOME mermaids are really bad, while others aren’t and Hook just doesn’t like them because they are mermaids… Could be wrong but in my mind, Hook is just being racist/speciest. He doesn’t have to have a specific reason, he just may not like their kind.
I agree that’s possible. But it’s kind of a weak explanation, especially on a TV show were you’re trying to uncover motives and psychological insights into characters. It might be racisim, but was there something that led Hook to feel that way?
