Now, I am not here to make every Hook fan mad. Which, while there is evidence to support that he’s working for Zelena, I also believe that he’s working for someone different: Rumple.

Yeah. If (and this is a big IF) Hook is working for Zelena I think he’s working “diagonally” meaning he’s working against her by working for her. I can’t see him working for Zelena by choice unless he knew he could beat her at her own game.

Working for Rumple is an interesting idea but we’re not sure how sane he is right now or ever. Time will tell. There is another option.

Neal.

I think (and until proven otherwise) will continue to think that Neal and Hook are working together. Neal and Belle bring back Rumple. Neal looses his heart or the totem of his heart to the Witch but keeps a semblance of free will (just like Graham could make his own decisions when his heart was in the vault). Neal joins Rumple in being locked up but Neal remains SANE. Neal learns of Zelena’s plan but underestimates how in control she is. Neal gets word to Hook with a potion, “get to Emma. Do whatever you have to do. Just get to her and get her home. Her family is in danger.” But Neal has one additional request, “don’t tell Emma. If she knows I’m in danger, it’s a distraction. She’ll want to go after Henry’s father and right now her focus needs to be on saving SB and her family. So lie to her. Do what you have to, but keep this secret”
