I love Robin and Roland but I get the creepiest vibe whenever Regina’s in the same scene with Roland. I want her to stay the heck away from that kid. The kids she takes an interest in tend to lose their fathers…among other things. Let’s see, Snow, Hansel & Gretel (the only ones, other than Emma, who got their dad back, incidentally), Owen, and Henry. Oh, and Emma’s being separated from her parents until she was 28. Until Quiet Minds I was willing to cautiously accept the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Outlaw Queen could persuade me. Now I’m screaming at Robin to run the other way.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ My reaction to that…
Henry: Anywhoo….Regina is technically a wonderful mother…even Rumplestilskin told her that….and the two of them are the only ones with REAL parenting experience, and did a heck of a job when they had crappy parents themselves…so yeah…and plus, allow me to go down the list:
Snow White/Leo: Please don’t get me started on this case, because Leo was thrice Regina’s age, and practically forced her to marry him. Anyone could have saw that Cora agreed on Regina’s behalf, and the look of horror on Regina’s face should have let Leo know. Also…he never loved Regina…he neglected her and put Snow above all else. Didn’t even let Regina out of the castle, and yes he didn’t because he never took her anywhere with him and Snow. Regina was nothing but a babysitter, and probably a plaything to Leo…so no sympathy there.
Hansel and Gretel: Yeah…Regina wasn’t completely heartless back then. She never would have killed children, who could have said no to whatever offer Regina probably made them to go into that Ginger House. And before anyone comes up with the Town Massacre…there were no children present in that pile or in town. If so…PM me an image or something. But as for Hansel and Gretel…like I said…they could have said no. And they basically insulted the woman calling her evil and vicious after she offered them a home, and you can’t say that she would have kept Woodsman from them because deep down, Regina loved her own father so she would have let him be with his kids eventually. But it was them insulting her that led her to keeping them apart, and did I mention she still let the father go to find them on his own?
Owen: Seriously…did his father ever hear of knocking? You don’t just barge into the mayor’s office! And when you see someone talking to a heart…yeah…you act like you see nothing and act normal then politely leave. And he saw that his son didn’t want to leave SB, but that pride just couldn’t stop him.
Emma: Seriously? No sense in going there because Regina made up for that by giving Emma happy memories.
