…. um … I caved and watched it, because I’m a terrible addict who can’t go cold turkey. I feel ashamed… Also had my weekly Sunday night phone call with my aunt to discuss the episode and we both agree that the funeral was awkward, provided no closure, and something seemed missing the whole time. The two things that really got me though were: 1) Who were all those extra people at the funeral/wake? Was Neal in town long enough to make nameless friends that we never saw? And 2) It bugged me that this was a better episode than last week. The pacing was better, people did things that made sense for their characters, etc. Why couldn’t we have had that last week? It would have made all of this easier to take, especially since we KNOW they can do great death episodes. :: le sigh ::
We’ll see how well I do at this resolution next week. >_<
