Saw a post on tumblr before about the distasteful look Regina had and how she suggested the check the mirror to validate his story. She doesn’t trust him, and it just makes me believe even more that Regina and Emma were scheming right before Hook knocked on the door, and Emma’s scamming him, playing nice so he’ll spill what he knows.
That would be a welcomed twist. Sadly, I just have very little faith in the writers’ ability. It’s as if the writers are under the same spell as Emma is, making a morally grey character into a “man of honor” and killing off the real man of honor (Neal) and in a most OOC way. It’s like up is down and down is up. Maybe the writers are going for a surrealist interpretation of life, love and morality, in which case, they’re doing a great job. Otherwise, as far as an epic, heroic tale is concerned, I’d say they’re doing a terrible job.
