Yes, this was why I was thinking. It bugs me that some people have selective memory with regards to TLK and memory loss. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ignored it in the show though because there are a number of things they never address that they probably should. I suppose it won’t matter if its discussed if we get a confirmed TLK.

Selective memory, indeed. Jane Espenson even confirmed this that TLK doesn’t work with memory loss. But just because it doesn’t work, doesn’t mean it’s not true love.
I mean, we’ve seen this before the show. It happened with Snow and it happened with Belle. In both cases, TLK did not work. It worked the second time with Snow because Charming took her advice, but Belle freaked out when Rumple kissed her in the hospital.
